Set up your Brand Kit automatically

Brand Kit Builder automatically creates a Brand Kit using content extracted from a website or PDF. Depending on the source, it can add logos, colors, fonts, graphics, photography, brand voice, guidelines, reducing manual setup and helping you create more on-brand content.

You can access the Brand Kit Builder in three ways.

The content Brand Kit Builder extracts depends on the website or PDF you use.

From a website, Brand Kit Builder may extract or generate:

• Logos
• Colors
• Fonts
• Graphics and other visual assets
• Photography
• Brand voice
• Guidelines 

From a PDF brand guidelines document, Brand Kit Builder may extract:

• Brand colors
• Font styles
• Brand voice
• Guidelines

Results may vary depending on the content, structure, and accessibility of the website or PDF. Always review the extracted content and make any necessary changes before using your Brand Kit. 

1. Go to the
   Brand tab on the Homepage
2. Select an empty or new Brand Kit
3. Choose one of the setup options:
   • Enter your company website URL
   • Upload a PDF brand guidelines document
4. For website URLs:
   • Type your company website address.
   • Select the → button.
   • Wait for Brand Kit Builder to analyse the website.
   • Review the extracted assets, brand voice, and guidelines.
5. For PDF guidelines:
   • Upload your brand guidelines PDF.
   • Wait for Brand Kit Builder to analyse the document.
   • Review extracted elements.
   • Edit the extracted content or add other elements to complete your Brand Kit.

Set up your Brand Kit using Brand Kit Builder as part of the team onboarding process.

1. Go through your team setup until you reach the Brand Kit step
2. Choose one of the setup options:
   • Enter your company website URL
   • Upload a PDF brand guidelines document
3. For website URLs:
   • Type your company website address
   • Select the → button
   • After onboarding, go to the Brand tab to review extracted elements
   • Make any edits or add additional assets to complete your Brand Kit
4. For PDF guidelines:
   • Upload your brand guidelines PDF
   • After onboarding, go to the Brand tab to review extracted elements
   • Make any edits or add additional elements to complete your Brand Kit

1. Go to the
   Brand tab on the Homepage
2. If your Brand Kit is missing key elements, you'll see the Brand Kit Builder banner
3. Select the banner to start
4. Choose one of the setup options:
   • Enter your company website URL
   • Upload a PDF brand guidelines document
5. For website URLs:
   • Type your company website address
   • Select the → button
   • Review extracted elements
   • Make any edits or add additional elements to complete your Brand Kit
6. For PDF guidelines:
   • Upload your brand guidelines PDF
   • Review extracted elements 
   • Make any edits or add additional elements to complete your Brand Kit

If Brand Kit Builder can’t extract content, you’ll see an error message with steps you can try.

For websites:

• Make sure you entered a valid, public website URL.
• Check that the website contains accessible brand content.
• Try a different page from the same website or use a different website.
• Some websites may block Brand Kit Builder from accessing their content. If this happens, add your brand elements manually.

For PDFs:

• Make sure the file is under 200 MB.
• Use a clearly formatted PDF.
• Try a different file if the PDF is complex, password-protected, or contains scanned pages that can’t be read.

Extraction results can vary. Some websites and PDFs may return fewer assets or less detailed guidance than others.

Brand Kit Builder is exclusively available to team owners, admins, and brand designers with Brand Kit edit access. Team members cannot access this feature unless granted specific permissions.

Website extraction is usually instant. PDF extraction takes around a minute on average, but it can vary depending on the file’s size and complexity.

For Brand Kits with minimal or incomplete content, extracted elements may replace existing ones. If your Brand Kit already contains key elements, Brand Kit Builder won't appear.
